Work-a-holic?

I've been trying to get as much digital practice as i can. Here's a little practice. I was planning to take it further but opted not to. (for the time being??). Also, i feel like the colors don't feel right...no lighting. That's something i need to keep practice with...man, oh man, the color seems really saturated.

The semester started last week. Sniff sniff...

Sketches With A PURPLE pencil

Yes..that purple pencil is my neeww favorite pencil. keekkeeke. I had a pencil that i used for 5-6 years. It was my favorite, but it broke on me. the rust ate away on it :( So, i've been trying to find a replacement for it...I think this purple one fits the billllll.

Anyways..here's some sketches i did. Enjoy.

Work In Progress

Here's a pose i did from figure drawing, but i wanted to add a story into it. I think i've been more focused on storytelling. I tend to lose focus on that subject. I want to work on this piece more..

Art Gift

A piece for my friend, Amy. Happy 22nd Bday. Hope you liked it. :D

Epiphany

I learn a lot from this piece. Art changing..you can say. I think what really help me was looking at artworks from Craig Mullins, Justin Sweet, and James Jean . I observe what they did and took what I learn from Barron's Class and applied it into this piece.

I liked how it turn out. I have to be honest and say this piece sure mean a lot to me. I never really believe in "epiphany"..but this piece made me realize things i never thought of. Glad i did it.

The Great Barron Storey

I learned so much from taking his class. So educational...Probably one of the more enlightening and art changing class i've had so far. There's not much to say, but be in awe in his art theory and his creative process. But i have to give credit to my peers as well, as we all help push each other. It was a great atmosphere all around. Anyways, here's a picture of him with his most famous piece, "lords of the flies". Wonderful piece..

Sketchesss

Thought i share some stuff from my sketchbook. The figure drawing was a 10 min pose. When i was sketching it out, i wanted to come up with a story for it. It turn out pretty cool.
